Legal
Terms
Last updated 4 November 2026. By using Code Search (codesearch.amplfyd.com, part of amplfyd) you agree to these terms.
The service
Code Search is free. It searches public GitHub repositories on your behalf, using your own GitHub account's quota, and returns the results through the dashboard, the REST API and the MCP server.
Fair use
- Keep to the published limits: GitHub's search limit of 30 requests a minute and Code Search's 120 requests a minute per account.
- Do not try to get around rate limits, for example by creating many GitHub accounts.
- Follow GitHub's Terms of Service, which also apply to every search.
- Keep your API keys secret. You are responsible for what is done with them; revoke a key the moment you think it leaked.
Results
Results come from GitHub and belong to their owners. Code Search ranks them but does not review them. Check a project's licence, security and maintenance before you depend on it.
No warranty
Code Search is provided as is, without any warranty. It can be slow, limited or unavailable, for example when GitHub is. We may change or stop the service, and we may suspend accounts that abuse it.
